Our parent company B.Braun Melsungen AG was established in 1839 and is now a leading European corporation with a world wide presence in the field of medical care. B.Braun Avitum is a division of the B.Braun Group of companies that manufactures and sells products for haemodialysis, acute dialysis and apheresis. It operates dialysis centres and provides care for more than 6,000 patients in over 100 clinics in Europe, Asia and South Africa. B.Braun Avitum is active in conducting clinical studies and supporting research in all aspects of haemodialysis.

B.Braun Avitum (UK) Ltd was established in 2007 when the Renal Therapy Services business of Baxter Healthcare was acquired by B.Braun. The seven renal centres employ 149 staff and treat over 600 patients per annum. Our objective is to deliver high quality services to meet our customers’ requirements and improve the quality of life of renal patients. In September 07 B Braun Avitum acquired the dialysis division of B M Browne UK Ltd, who previously held the distribution rights to supply B Braun dialysis products in the UK.
